Left Herizontal Stabilizer Front Spar

September 15th, 2008

I prep’ed the left HS front spar. This mostly consisted of trimming back a little of the flange, drilling some relief holes and bending it by six degrees. I also tapered the HS-710 and HS-714 reinforcing angles. Sorry, forgot to take pictures.

Cutting the HS-404 nose ribs didn’t turn out so well.  Looking kind of ugly:

Match drill skins to spar

September 14th, 2008
