Fab R-917 shim.  Match drill rudder spar, lower rib and reinforcement plates.

Riveted the rudder stiffeners to the skins.

Cleaned, etched, alodined, and primed the rudder skin and stifners.

Debured and dimpled the rudder skin and stifners.

Hung the vertical stabilizer on the ceiling.

I didn’t take very many pictures building the rudder so these posts will be rather brief.

Cut out and shaped the rudder skin stiffners.
